Hello there! I am sharing my 3 Ingredient Chocolate Truffles just in time for Valentine’s Day. Have you ever made truffles before? They are pretty simple and easy to make. You probably already have all three ingredients at home. What better way to say I love you than with a box of homemade chocolate truffles!
Chocolate lovers rejoice because these truffles are creamy, smooth and delicious! Truffles are the perfect party dessert. Just grab and go. They also make fabulous gifts for your friends and family. Just add cute packaging.
The 3 ingredients are: 16 0z semi sweet chocolate chips, 1 cup heavy whipping cream and 1/4 – 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder for dusting.
Start by placing your chocolate chips into a medium size bowl. On the stove top in a small sauce pan, over medium-high heat, bring the heaving whipped cream to a boil and boil for 1 minute. Pour the hot cream into the bowl of chocolate chips and stir until the chips are melted and smooth. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator for a couple or over night is best.
After chilling, remove the bowl from the refrigerator. Use a small spoon or melon baller to shape the chocolate mixture into small balls. Place back into the refrigerate to chill for a couple more hours.
*I placed the truffles onto a baking sheet that was lined with wax paper.
Coat the chocolate truffles with a dusting of unsweetened cocoa powder. Place back in the refrigerate until set or serve right away.
