Add an elegant touch to decorating this holiday season with this easy to make Gold-Dipped Floral Arrangement.
Hello there! Have you all started decorating for this holidays yet? I am slowly getting everything finished by Christmas. Today I am sharing how you can make your own Gold-Dipped Floral Arrangement. I was inspired by the Make It:Fun® Holiday E-book that is filled with lots of easy and inexpensive Christmas crafts and decorations. Make sure to check it out!
Supplies:
- FloraCraft® Make It:Fun® Foam Cube
- Birch wood wrapping paper
- Adhesive gold vinyl
- Scissors
- Large white floral flower
- Floral pine cones, acorns, succulents and berry stems
- Low temp – glue gun
Instructions:
Start by tearing 2 ” strips of the birch wrapping paper by hand. Using a low-temp glue gun, glue the paper strips to the foam cube, slightly overlapping the paper. Make sure to pull your paper tight. That way you will prevent bubbles and gaps.
Next, use your scissors to cut a wavy strip of the adhesive gold vinyl. Place the self adhesive vinyl along the bottom edge of the foam cube to create a gold-dipped affect.
I cut part of the stem off of a large white floral flower and stuck it in the middle on the top of the cube.
Finally I added floral leaves, pine cones, acorns, berry stems, and a succulent to fill in the remaining top of the arrangement. Use a hot glue gun to secure them into place.
This Gold-Dipped Floral Arrangement turned out so pretty. It will make a great centerpiece or decoration this holiday season.
Be sure to check out the Make It:Fun® holiday e-book for more fun inspiration. There are so many great ideas to put your own spin on this holiday season. If you look in the background, I made a gold glitter foam tree and a pearl wrapped foam ball inspired by the e-book.
