BAKED BRIE with figs, dates, golden raisins, pecans & maple is an easy to make and delicious appetizer recipe. Great for parties!
Hello there! Hope you had a Merry Christmas last week. I was able to leave town for a bit and spend time with my in-laws. It was nice to unplug for a few days but I am ready to be back at home, on a schedule, and blogging again. This week I am sharing a super easy but impressive looking Baked Brie with figs, dates, golden raisins, pecans & maple. This appetizer recipe is perfect to put together for parties and New Year’s Eve. Baked Brie is quick, easy, and delicious. Just serve with crackers or bread. The creaminess of brie cheese paired with sweet dry fruit and nuts makes for a flavor combo people will keep coming back for.
Recently, my family and I went out to eat at a hip restaurant in St. Louis for my little sister’s 30th birthday. One of the appetizers we ordered was this baked brie with figs, dates, golden raisins, pecans & maple. It was so good! I wanted to come home and try to recreate this appetizer to serve for a New Year’s Eve or really any party. My favorite part of this appetizer is the mixture of dried fruits and nuts. It is very easy to put together and the flavors are amazing. I incorporated fig jam and pure maple syrup to combine the fruit and nut mixture together. Then you add the mixture to a wheel of brie cheese and bake in the oven. The jam and syrup soak into the brie and the brie softens and becomes slightly gooey. I like serving and eating the baked brie with slices of crusty Italian or French bread. You can also use crackers to scoop up the brie.
This baked brie with figs, dates, golden raisins, pecans & maple is one appetizer you have to make for your next party!
