Cranberry Detox Smoothie is a simple and delicious smoothie recipe that helps cleanse the body with anti-inflammatory vitamins and minerals.
Hello there! Whether you need to get back on track with a healthy diet or just looking for a great smoothie recipe, this Cranberry Detox Smoothie is one to try. This smoothie recipe is made with just a few healthy ingredients and is a great breakfast option for when you are in a hurry. This time of year is when you can buy fresh cranberries in the store at a cheap price. Cranberries contain vitamins, fiber, and other minerals making this smoothie perfect for detoxing and nourishing the body.
Ok, if you have been following me for a bit, you know I love breakfast recipes. Especially smoothie recipes because they are super easy to make. You just throw a few healthy ingredients into a blender, blend, and your done. I am not one to spend hours in the morning cooking breakfast, then you have to clean everything up. In fact, most of the time I just have coffee for breakfast. Starting this year I am going to try and eat a healthy breakfast every morning. Smoothies are a great option for those busy mornings when you are rushing around.
In addition to cranberries, this recipe also contains a small apple, almond milk, water, cinnamon, and turmeric. An apple gives the smoothie a nice flavor and we all know apples are good for us. I like using almond milk because it is dairy-free, but you can certainly add your favorite milk to this smoothie recipe. I love cinnamon and put it in almost everything and I think it pairs nicely with the cranberries. Finally turmeric is an anti-inflammatory and helps with stomach problems like bloat. This cranberry detox smoothie is a bit on the sour side but I personally like the flavors and there is no additional sugar added to this recipe.
- 1 cup fresh frozen cranberries
- 1 apple, peeled and cored
- 1/2 cup almond milk (or milk of your choice)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric

Great idea, never thought about cranberries in my smoothies. I do add Chia seeds to all of them for some added benefit.
