Instructions:
I have made two Foam Cone Centerpieces and started by painting each cone. For the cone above, I used Americana Acrylic Paint in Bubblegum Pink, which is only fitting for this craft. For the second cone I used the color Aqua Sky. Let the paint completely dry.
Use a high heat glue gun to glue gumballs to the Foam Cones. You can get creative and make patterns and shapes with different color gumballs. Place a small dab of hot glue on one side of the gumball. Then place the gumball on the foam cone and hold until the gumball is secure (just a few seconds).
I tried to hot glue the gumballs in between each other, that way they are not right on top of one another. Some of the Foam Cone will show through. That is why I recommended painting the cones in coordinating colors before the gumballs on. I used pink, turquoise, and yellow shimmer gumballs I bought at Target. Party City has a good selection too.
These It’s A Party – Gumball Centerpiece really make a huge statement on the party table. You can customize the colors for any holiday. Orange and black for Halloween, Red and green for Christmas. Totally fun!
