Hey there! Today I am super excited to share my Anthro Knock Off Pomdelion Bouquet! I love all things Anthropologie and am inspired by so many of their pieces. These fuzzy pom poms make me smile in anticipation of Spring. Now, if only the weather would warm up, I’d be all set.
As I mentioned earlier I love Anthropologie! I am on their website daily and came across a pomdelion bouquet. I fell in love…
I saw some saffron yarn in my craft stash and knew I wanted to make my own. I mean, what else I am going to use saffron yarn for?!
Here are the supplies I used:
- Saffron yarn
- Small Pom Pom Maker
- Green Floral Wire
- Crepe Paper
- Glue Gun
- Floral Tape
- Scissors
I already had all of these supplies on hand, so this was a free craft project!
Here is how I made the Anrtho Knock Off Pomdelion Bouquet:
First I started by making five large pom poms. I used a pom pom maker I already had. I used it to make some cute pom pom pens. If you don’t have a pom pom maker, you could always look up how to diy pom poms on Pinterest. I have seen lots of tutorials on there.
Next, I glued the pom poms to green floral wire using a hot glue gun. Just add a dab of the hot glue to the wire and stick the wire into the center of each pom pom. I had the floral wire left over from my paper flower centerpiece.
I wanted to add some green leaves to the pomdelion’s and found a piece of stretchy crepe paper I had left over from a craft workshop I attended last summer. Y’all, I am telling you I am a hoarder when it comes to craft supplies and materials. Anyway, I cut small circles and made little cuts to act as leaves. Then I poked the wire stem through the center of each circle and taped it using the floral tape. I found using hot glue made the paper stick a lot better too.
That’s it! These pomdelions are really simple to make and take no time at all. You can put them in a clear mason jar or I like mine in this chalky paint pitcher I made at Christmas time. I just love this Anthro Knock Off Pomdelion Bouquet!
