How to start a Bible Journaling Page using Americana Premium Acrylics for beginners with a step by step tutorial and list of supplies.
Hello there! Today, I am going to share a new concept to some. It’s called Bible Journaling and it is a creative way to engage with scripture, while expressing your craft. I love painting in my Bible because it is fun and helps me to connect with the scripture. I recently used the new American Premium Acrylics on a scripture from Psalms and I really enjoyed the process. You do not have to be a skilled artist to create in your Bible. I will share a few tips and tricks I’ve learned to help you get started.

There are several different supplies you can use when journaling such as pens, markers. water colors, and acrylic paints. I loved using the new tube acrylics and I am sharing what I learned over on the DecoArt blog.
Some people are afraid of trying Bible Journaling because they don’t want to mess up their Bible. I was like that too. The best advice I can give is to jump in and get started. I have a regular study Bible that I use for reading and I have this Journaling Bible for creating. You are your own person so own it and be it.
One of the goals while Bible Journaling is to meditate on God’s word. This process should be fun and help provide a fresh perspective on scripture. Don’t get upset if your page isn’t perfect. The beauty of creating is finding out what you like and don’t like and making it your own.
