Calling all coffee drinkers! I have such a simple and practical gift idea to share with you all today. These Coffee Beans Gift Jars are the perfect gift for coffee lovers. I decorated the glass jar lids using two different kinds of paint. I also made three coffee printables which you can print later in this post. Anyone who drinks coffee will love this gift!
MATERIALS:
- Glass jars
- Coffee beans
- Paint (any color)
- Chalkboard paint
- Chalk
- Ribbon
- Coffee tags
I used two different kinds of paint for the jar lids. I painted the rims a bright red color and then painted the tops with chalkboard paint. I like the contrast between the two colors. I also wanted to use chalkboard paint to write the name of the coffee to let my friends and family receiving the jars know where the coffee is from.
At the pie shop that I work at the owner of the shop buys local coffee beans to serve and sell at the shop. I love buying local products when I can. You know where and how the coffee is roasted. Plus, I really love supporting local merchants. Of course, if you don’t have a local roaster near by, you can always buy your favorite coffee beans from the store. This Steam Shovel coffee is local and organic. Just add the beans to your sterilized glass jars.
To finish off the jars I added a ribbon and coffee tags. It just dresses up the jars a bit and makes the gift cuter.
The printable tags are 2 inches by 2 inches. I used a round 2 inch circle punch to cut the tags and placed them on the jars using adhesive foam squares. I like the look of the natural brown kraft cardstock to print the tags on. You can use whatever color of cardstock you like.
