When I was in my early twenties and moved out of my parents house for the first time, my mother gave me a list of all my favorite recipes she made. One of the recipes was for a Coke Roast. This is probably one of the easiest and tastiest recipes I own. It just has three ingredients and you cook it in a Crock Pot. Done and Done.
The three ingred ients are:
- 2 pound Chuck or Beef Roast
- 2 12 oz cans of Coca- Cola ( it must be regular and NOT diet)
- 1 Packet of Lipton Onion Soup Mix
First I spray the inside of my Crock Pot to make clean up easier. Then I just place the roast inside and sprinkle with the soup mix. Lastly I pour the cans of Coke in and mix. You can cook the roast on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours. That’s it! I like to serve my roast with any kind a potato (baked, mashed, roasted) and a side salad. Hope you enjoy!
Hope you enjoy my Coke Roast Recipe!

Can you go ahead and put your potatoes and veggies in there?
The Casual Craftlete says
Amy, you can put veggies into the crock pot with the roast. They will have the same coke flavor as the roast. Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Can you put the roast in the crock pot frozen or should it be thawed first?

Hi Gina! I put frozen roast in the crock pot all the time. I usually cook it on low for 8 hours.
