Cool Quilts For Summer

Now that the weather is warming up it’s time to think about those Cool Quilts for Summer.  Quilts are lightweight enough to keep you cool on those hot summer nights while still feeling cozy. Hello there!  Today I am sharing some of my inspirations for cool quilts this summer.  I have been looking online trying to find the perfect quilt for my bedroom and I have narrowed it down to a few of my favorites.

I have been living in my current home for nine years.  Nothing has changed in those nine years.  Everything is still the same since the day we moved in, well, mostly.  Some of the reason in not doing a home makeover or any updates is not having the finances and partly because I change my mind a lot on home decor pieces that I like.  So, this summer I have decided I am going to start with my husband’s and I bedroom.  With life being so crazy, I need a nice calming sanctuary.  Over Christmas I bought an Ikea dresser that I plan on painting soon and I wanted to buy the bedding before picking out paint colors.  So, in searching for the perfect cool quilt for summer, I thought I would round out some of my favorites to share with you all in case you are looking for the perfect quilt too. 

This Scalloped Organic Patchwork Quilt from Pottery Barn is everything a quilt should be.  It has bright bold colors and a beautiful botanical pattern.

Another gorgeous floral quilt is this Woodblock Floral Quilt from Anthropologie.  The navy and coral colors are soothing and it has a reversible lime green and white side.  This quilt is boho chic.

This classic look from Crate and Barrel is masculine while keeping in trend for summer.  The Oxford Blue Quilt is a traditional Indian textile print with a reversible solid blue side.  Nice and crisp. 

You can never go wrong with an all white quilt.  This Frayed Edge Quilt from West Elm is light and airy.  You can pair this dreamy modern quilt with any color of your choice.

If you are looking for a bright quilt, here is another one from Pottery Barn.  This Paulina Paisley Quilt will sure to brighten up your bedroom.  I love the cheery teal and orange color combo. 

This cute red and white quilt is from Sarah Richardson’s Summer Cottage.  This quilt has a classic coastal vibe to it.  I just adore this vintage looking bedroom.

Last and my favorite of all is the Ponsonby Quilt from Anthropologie.  I love the calming blues and grays with pops of coral and yellow on this quilt.  It is also reversible with a darling tiny floral pattern.  I am going to Anthro tomorrow to check this quilt out in person.  If I love it as much as I do online, it will be coming home with me.
