DIY Epoxy Paper Clips are easy and inexpensive to make and you can customize your own using pretty pattern scrapbook paper. These paper clips are great for using as bookmarks, gift wrapping, and more!
Hello there! Today, I am excited to share a super easy and cute paper craft with you. I made a few of these paper clips for my journaling bible and thought I would share the easy tutorial. These DIY Epoxy Paper Clips are made with simple supplies and are just the prettiest embellishment for scrapbooking, bookmarks, packaging and so much more.
Supplies (affiliate links):
- Scrapbook Paper – I used the new Maggie Holmes Gather 6 x 6 Paper Collection
- Epoxy Stickers
- Paper Punch
- Paper Clips
- Tacky Glue
Instructions:
Start by punching out 1 inch round circles on patterned scrapbook paper. This craft is a great way to use up scrap paper you might have in your stash. It’s also a great excuse to buy some new paper. I love this pattern paper from the new Maggie Holmes Gather collection.
Take the punched out paper and place a 1 inch epoxy sticker over the top. I have found that if you touch the sticky part on the epoxy it will leave fingerprints. So, make sure to peel and stick the epoxy stickers on the edges.
On the back of the epoxy dot sticker, add a small amount of tacky glue. Place a paper clip where the tacky glue is and let dry. I really love the gold paper clips. They add an extra pop of cuteness. I found that the tacky glue works pretty well. I tried hot glue and the paper clip popped off. Another option is after the tacky glue dries you can place a small sticker over the paper clip and glue.
Oh my goodness! How cute are these DIY Epoxy Paper Clips?! I just love this blue plaid scrapbook paper. I plan on using this paper clip to embellish a gift for one of my friends.
These epoxy dot paper clips are total eye candy. I could stare at pretty paper all day long. If you make some of these paper clips make sure to tag me on Instagram @purelykatiehome. I would love to see them!
