DIY Pumpkin Chai Soy Candle is easy to make and scented with warming fall fragrant oils. This candle smells like a pumpkin chai latte and you can download a beautiful label to make for a gift. Add a wooden jar lid for a unique mason jar.
Hello there! I just love fall specially the smells of the season. I could seriously burn pumpkin candles all year. This DIY Pumpkin Chai Candle has both calming and uplifting properties that are perfect for anti-anxiety and stress. This candle is also made with natural soy wax and it smells amazing. I made a printable label that you can download later in this post and use for a gift.
Supplies: (affiliate links)
- Wide Mouth Mason Jar
- 4 cups Soy Wax
- Candle Wick
- Pumpkin Spice Essential Oil
- Vanilla Essential Oil
- Ginger Essential Oil
- Clove Essential Oil
- Hot Glue Gun
- Free Printable Label
- Wooden Jar Lid
Instructions:
Start by applying hot glue to the metal tab on the candle wick. Place the tab in the bottom center of a glass jar and let the hot glue set. I used a new clamping method with two popsicle sticks and a clothespin. This is the best way I have found to hold the wick in place. Set aside.
Place 4 cups of natural soy wax flakes into a heat resistant bowl. Using the double boiler method, melt the wax until completely dissolved into a liquid. I added 1 oz of pumpkin spice essential oil, 1 oz vanilla essential oil and 10 drops of clove and ginger essential oils to the melted wax. You can add desired amount of oils.
Pour the scented liquid candle wax into the prepared jar. Set aside and let harden. The candle wax will change to a white color once it is completely set and hardened. Trim the wick by cutting it with a pair of scissors.
I made simple label for your candle. This would make a great all-occasion gift for someone special. I hope you like it!
