Hello there! I just love this time of year. Fall is my favorite season and I start decorating for it as soon as I can. This year I went to Michaels for all my craft supplies. I was inspired by all the pumpkins and floral accents in Michaels Harvest Market, that I decided to create my own mini pumpkin market decor with new satin enamels and chalky paints. It looks so good on my front porch. Today, I am sharing how I made the DIY Pumpkin Market Fall Decor and hope to inspire you to get crafty.

Instructions:
I started by painting the wood bushel basket with one coat of Americana Decor Satin Enamels in Artifact. This is a medium to light gray color. Once the paint was dry, I applied one coat of Creme Wax using a round wax brush. The wax gives the basket a white wash look and helps seals the paint.
Next, I painted some white craft pumpkins found in Michaels Harvest Market section by mixing Americana Decor Satin Enamels in Deep Ruby and Honey Gold. One coat was plenty and I love the different shades. By mixing paint colors, you can make your own custom colors and it’s a great way to use up any extra paint.
I made a pumpkin market sign using a wood tent sign found in Michaels wood section. I started by painting one coat of the Honey Gold paint and letting it dry.
Next, I made a image using my Silhouette Cameo. You can download the cut file here. It is a simple text with an arrow 4 x 6 inches image which fits perfectly on the wood sign. Use a piece of vinyl to cut the image on.
I placed the vinyl using a piece of transfer tape on the menu board and painted a very thin coat of Deep Ruby over the vinyl and board. Once the paint was dry, I removed the vinyl using a weeding tool and used a piece of sandpaper to distress the surface.
I filled the bushel basket with a bag of Spanish moss, daisies, berry stems, and the painted craft pumpkins.
This DIY Pumpkin Market Fall Decor would be great to display outside on a patio or porch or you can decorated the inside of your home. I like the traditional colors of fall and you can leave this decor up through Thanksgiving.
Make sure to check out Michaels for new Americana Decor and all your crafting needs.
