Spicy Kale Chips

Ingredients
  • 2 bunches of Kale or about 2.5 pounds
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Start by rinsing and drying you kale. You can leave the kale on the counter to dry or use a salad spinner. I wrapped mine in a towel and spun it around a few times.
  3. Lay the kale leaves onto a cutting board and cut the stem out using a sharp knife.
  4. Add the dry kale to a large bowl then add olive oil, salt, pepper and crushed red pepper.
  5. Massage ingredients into the kale leaves, making use they are spread evenly.
  6. Placed on a ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. You want to leave about a ¼ inch space in between each leaf, so you will have to cook in batches.
