Hello there! I am so excited to share my first project for FloraCraft® Make It Fun. This months challenge was to create a wreath and today, I am showing you how to make a Floral Cupcake Liner Wreath. This wreath is so fun and colorful. It’s great for decorating this summer and couldn’t be easier to make. Anytime I get a chance to create with pretty paper it makes me happy and this wreath definitely makes me smile.
Supplies: (affiliate links)
- FloraCraft® Make It: Fun® Foam Wreath – 12″
- Floral Cupcake liners (2 packages)
- Extra Long Satin Pins
Instructions:
Start by laying a cupcake liner pattern side up and flip the liner inside out.
Next, pinch the center of the bottom of the cupcake liner and pull the sides up.
While pinching the bottom of the cupcake liner, fold the edges out to resemble a flower.
Poke an extra long satin pin through the bottom of the pinched cupcake liner and into the Foam.
Fold the cupcake liner over the pin and Foam.
Layer the cupcake liners on the front, inside, and outside of the Foam. I did not place any cupcake liners on the back of the Foam so the wreath can lay flat.
I wanted my wreath to be full and poofy. I layered the cupcake liners almost right on top of one another. For this wreath I used approximately 170 cupcake liners. This wreath was very easy to put together and once you get the hang of layering the liners, the time goes by quickly. I really like the brand of cupcake liners that I used because they are slightly smaller than regular liners and fold very easily. They also lay very nicely to where you can see the pretty floral patterns.
I really love how this Floral Cupcake Liner Wreath turned out! It’s going to look so pretty in my living room.
