Hello there! Today, I am SO excited to share a new product from FloraCraft® called Slime Ballz. These foam micro beads (expandable polystyrene) are added to slime and floam recipes to create texture and moldability. My daughter and I decided to make an adorable Ice Cream Sundae Slime using a borax-free slime recipe which is included on the Slime Ballz package.
Supplies (affiliate links):
- FloraCraft® Slime Ballz
- Liquid Starch
- White Craft Glue
- Food Coloring *optional
- Water
- Ice Cream Cups
Instructions:
Following the easy direction on the Slime Ballz package, start by measuring 4 oz of white craft or Elmer’s glue into a medium mixing bowl. Add 3 teaspoons of water and mix until combined.
Next, add 1 teaspoon of liquid starch at a time up to 8 teaspoons, stirring well between each added teaspoon. Once combined, used your hands to knead the slime. If the slime is too sticky add additional drops of liquid starch until desired consistency. I could not find liquid starch on the shelf in the stores. I did a same day pickup at Walmart with free shipping. Or, you can buy it on Amazon with my affiliate link HERE.
Add half the package of Slime Ballz to the mixture and knead with your hands until well combined.
I added a few drops of food coloring to the slime mixture. You can even make rainbow, glow in the dark, and glitter slime. The instructions for all the different types of slime are on the package.
To add even more fun and cuteness I put the slime inside some party Ice Cream Cups and my daughter pretending the slime was ice cream. We had so much fun making this Ice Cream Sundae Slime! This is for play only. DO NOT EAT!
I hope you enjoyed this tutorial on how to make your own Ice Cream Sundae Slime! What will you add to the slime you make?
