Learn to paint online with Make with Paint, a program which offers online classes for beginners who want to learn to paint.

If you have been interested in taking online paint classes, the Make with Paint series is a great place for beginners and experienced painters to start. Each video series includes 3 easy do-it-yourself projects that teach progressive skill development and the how-to’s of painting through video and written step-by-step instructions. At the end of each video instruction, you will have a new set of skills and a finished project. You can work at your own pace and get pro tips from the instructor throughout each video on brush strokes, creating colors, texture, hand-lettering and much more.
Make with Paint is a new online skill developed program brought to you by Society of Decorative Painters. I chose the beginning paint video series with Cari Voeltner. This series includes three floral designs that you can give to a friend or hang in your home.
I have been painting projects for years now but I am just learning about painting artistically.
Each Make with Paint kit includes all of the materials that you will need for all three projects. In each video you will paint a unique skill level design using acrylic paints.
You will need a large working space for your computer and supplies. I do most of my crafting on my dining table with a cup of coffee.
I love the easy to follow step-by-step instructions that this series provides. You can work at your own pace and also pause and rewind the instructions as much as you need to.
There are several things that I learned during the paint series other than how to paint. One is that I like the more organic techniques when creating florals and leaves as apposed to the more precise hand-lettering. Also, to embrace the imperfections because that’s what makes it YOUR painting.
If you are interested in trying your hand at the online paint series, one lucky reader will win an entire Make with Paint Kit and video series. Plus, all of the supplies you need to create these beautiful floral paintings. In this series you will start with a Thank You card, move on to a Home Sweet Home sign, and finish with a wooden Welcome plaque.
Enter below for a change to win and even if you aren’t the lucky winner, you can get started with Make with Paint for 25% off of the kit and videos combo by entering promo code KATIE25. Good luck and I can’t wait to see what you create!
