Create your own No-Sew Fabric Gift Bags that are perfect for gift giving this holiday season.
Hello there! I hope you all are enjoying your week. Today I am sharing the cutest little fabric craft ever. These No-Sew Fabric Gift Bags are so simple and quick to make. You can make one in a matter of minutes. They are also great for giving gifts in this holiday season. Just add a gift card, candy, or any small Christmas goody. I love a sweet little no-sew fabric project like this one!
If you have been following me for awhile, you know that I love fabric but I don’t know how to sew. I was inspired by this tutorial on how to make no-sew fabric gift bags. I used slightly different materials and added a velcro closure. I thought this project would be perfect for Christmas.
Materials: (May contain affiliate links. Thanks for supporting The Casual Craftlete!)
- 5″ Precut Fabric Quilt Squares
- Peel n Stick Fabric Fuse Sheets
- Peel n Stick Fabric Ovals Velcro
- Scissors
- Embellishments
Instructions:
For each gift bag, you will need two pieces of the fabric quilt squares.
Start by cutting three long strips of the peel n stick fabric fuse, approximately a quarter inch wide. I was able to make four bags with just one sheet of the peel n stick. So, you could make up to 20 bags with the one package of fabric fuse.
Next, peel off paper liner and place the strips face-up along the sides and bottom on the back of the fabric square. Rub with firm pressure, especially around the edges.
Then, peel off the paper backing.
Place the second piece of fabric on top of the fabric fuse and press firmly, making sure the front of the fabric is facing you.
Then I added an oval velcro closure by placing the peel n stick velcro into the center opening of the bag.
I added some cute embellishments for an extra special touch.
These little No-Sew Fabric Gift Bags are just darling for Christmas!

What a cute idea! I love that it’s no sew, because my sewing skills are limited to buttons and holes in socks!
