Treat your ghouls and ghosts this Halloween with this easy to make Snickers Caramel Apple Popcorn. It’s the perfect combination of salty, sweet, and chocolaty.
Hello there! Halloween is the ultimate holiday for candy. Today I am sharing a very easy recipe for Snickers Caramel Apple Popcorn. This three ingredient recipe couldn’t be easier to make and it also tastes amazing! If you love Snickers bars, the taste of caramel apples, and salty popcorn, you are going to love this recipe. You can make this popcorn to share at home with your family or give out at school parties or during trick or treating. I created a little paper box with a straw poking out to look like a caramel apple on a stick. It’s very fun and whimsical and the little monsters will go crazy for this Snickers Caramel Apple Popcorn.
For this Snickers Caramel Apple Popcorn, you will need:
Ingredients:
- 1 – 10 oz bag of Wilton Caramel Apple Candy Melts (I found them in the Halloween section and not in the baking section)
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 bag of popcorn (you can use microwave or air pop. I would recommended using natural popcorn and not butter or flavored)
- 1 – 12 bars package of Snickers fun size bars
Supplies:
- Baking sheet lined with parchment paper
- Double boiler
- Large bowl
- Spatula
Directions:
Line a 9 x 13 baking sheet with parchment paper. Start by popping the popcorn. Place 1 1/2 bags of popped popcorn into a large bowl. Remove unpopped seeds and set aside. Chop Snickers bars into small bite size pieces and set aside. In a double boiler add the candy melts and vegetable oil. Use a spatula to stir the melts until smooth and completely melted. Pour the caramel apple candy melts over the popcorn. Gently stir until all the popcorn is covered with the melts. Add the chopped Snickers and stir until incorporated. Pour the popcorn onto the prepared baking sheet and let set. Once the candy has set, break into pieces and store in an airtight container.
I can honestly say this popcorn is amazing and addictive. You won’t be disappointed. I think using cute Halloween containers to serve up popcorn will be fun for all.
