Hello there! Spring is in the air and I am getting the itch to make fruit recipes. Today I am sharing a recipe for Strawberry Infused Sugar and I have made free printables, which you can print later in this post. This infused sugar is made with just two simple ingredients. The strawberry infused sugar is great on cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit or you can add it to lemonade, cocktails/mocktails, tea and water. Just add the labels for a cute gift!
So, I love making cute gifts for others. And who doesn’t love gifts in a jar?! Mother’s Day is coming up and I thought this strawberry infused sugar would make a perfect gift. I have made four different labels that you can print off. I used self adhesive labels from Worldlabel.com in white and kraft. The labels I used come in 2 inch round or full sheet labels that you can punch out whatever size and shape you would like. Worldlabel.com has a ton of other great labels to choose from as well as easy to use templates to print your designs.
For the infused sugar you need:
1/2 cup freeze dried strawberries
2 cups of granulated sugar
Add the freeze dried strawberries to a food processor and pulse until finely ground. Pour into a separate bowl. Add sugar and stir well.
You can adjust the measurements as to how much infused sugar you are making.
Store the strawberry infused sugar in an air tight container(s). The longer the sugar sets, the more infused strawberry flavor will absorb into the sugar. The sugar will last several months.
The strawberry infused sugar is such a gorgeous color and it tastes amazing. Not to mention the labels are super cute! To check out all four printable labels, simply click the picture you want to print below.
