Instructions:
Start by picking artificial winter greenery. I purchased the ones I used for this Winter Floral Arrangement Basket at my local Hobby Lobby store (on sale). I chose several different types of greenery for texture but I stayed within the same green color palette. I added two different kinds of pine needles. boxwood looking stems, and mistletoe. I like the pops of white in the mistletoe because it matches the basket. I used wire cutters to trim the stems so they could fit inside the basket.
Arrange the different varieties of greenery inside the rope basket. While placing the greenery, fluff and bend each evergreen branch individually. This will give a more full and realistic look to the greenery. You can use a pair a wire cutters to cut branches apart and rearrange them in a different spot. Also, you can add pinecones, red berries, ornaments, and more to the arrangement if you like. I wanted to keep mine simple and let the greenery be the star. The neutral rope basket really make the greenery pop.
When I think of Christmas, greenery is usually the first thing that comes to mind. By using artificial greenery you can display the Winter Floral Arrangement Basket up all season long and store away for next year.
